These past few weeks (months?) have been a blur of frenzied activity! In early May, American Patchwork came to do a photo shoot here and that involved LOTS of cleaning - right when we were getting everything ready for Quilt Market. They won't use the photos until next spring - so we have to wait to see how everything turned out.
Then it was on to Quilt Market in Minneapolis. It was our busiest show ever and we are fondly referring to it as "The year of the Zipper". The past 6 months I've been working on a zipper program to make it easy for quilt shops to carry zippers. We were amazed at how well everyone liked the 36 colors. Look for them at your local quilt shop! After Market, I attended American Patchwork's "Creative Circle", an amazing retreat in Iowa. It was wonderful.
While I was gone things were changing on the home front! My annuals were shriveling up (did I forget to have someone water them?)
My perennials were coming up, (look at all of the new little babies!)
And I think Sawyer might have doubled in size!
Ooh, looking forward to the spread in APQ! Your booth looks great. And Sawyer looks so grown up! Hope you have a wonderful summer. Are we ever going to get real warmth here in MN?

I am loving your new patterns and zippers. I am lucky enough to have a local shop that ordered them all. I made four "Pockets to Go" boxes for teacher gifts -- they loved them -- and am working on finishing "Zippy Strippy" and "Cash and Carry" today. Such fun little projects! And I'm so glad the quilt shop has all of those zippers now. I'm tempted to buy one of each so I can have my own rainbow of zippers to use anytime the mood strikes. Thanks!!!

Welcome back to posting! The zipper program sounds terrific! Would enjoy seeing more pictures of your booth at market. I am having fun collecting fabrics for couple of your patterns!
