There were soooo many great suggestions to name the new pattern that I have been way beyond indecisive - I waited to decide until the last possible moment! But the printer emailed proofs of the pattern covers and I had to pick the new name today. The five winning suggestions are:
"Pixie Stix" from Nancy H. on April 7 at 7:02 p.m.
"Spaghetti Junction" from Leslie Schmidt on April 7 at 10:49 p.m.
"Sunset Strips" from Debbie on April 8 at 3:45 p.m.
"Popsicle Sticks" from Stacy on April 8 at 6:53 p.m.
"Streets and Alleys" from Mare April 8 at 8:15 p.m.
Winners: send me your snail mail address and I'll get a pattern to you as soon as they are printed!
And one more bonus winner - Sue (4/8 at 6:25 a.m.) suggested Zippy strips - and that's pretty close to our new bag pattern "Zippy Strippy" - I guess great minds think alike. Sue - email me your address and I'll send you a pattern! Here's a picture of "Zippy Strippy" - start collecting buttons, rick-rack, and other fun trims for this one! This pattern is perfect for using up leftover strips, and it works with new fabric too . . .
Oh, these were lovely.
Love the buttons and the rick rack.. Very nice.

Hi Terry, it's "Sue 4/8 at 6:25 a.m." I'm speechless! I LOVE the bag pattern and can't wait to see it and make it for two special friends. I may even go fabric shopping today (like I needed an excuse).
I'm looking forward to meeting you on Sunday at Quilt Trends in Columbus, OH. Thanks for the wonderful blog!

Oh, one more thing -- Popsicle Sticks is the perfect name! It makes me want to make the pattern even more. Guess I'll just have to keep myself busy making a few things from the Cash & Carry pattern I picked up last week while I wait for Popsicle Sticks to be released.

I would definitely use a square one on my nightstand by my bed. It would be a great way to make that space better looking. I love these because the sides seem to holdup and not get saggy. Linda
