It's puppy love

Here's our new puppy- we're in love! We've been working on getting Kirk to say yes to a puppy for months and we finally did it. Who could resist this little guy? He's just two months old and his name is Sawyer - and no, he's not named after Tom Sawyer. Our two cats are not quite as happy as the rest of the family, but they haven't had a chance to get to know Sawyer yet. Gotta go watch him be cute - I can finish those new patterns later!

Spring cleaning - who needs it?

 

Since this is what my house looks like maybe I'll move out! The mess is taking over and there's only one thing to do: get out! Megan and I have had a week of "in town vacation" during her spring break. It's been warm and sunny and it's been great to get out and about. On Thursday we decided to pop in and visit a few homes on the Parade of Homes. We had only one rule - the homes had to be at least $2,000,000 - and we managed to find a few.

There were two reasons we couldn't buy this house: they forgot to put in a swimming pool, and there was a huge picture window next to the tub - you'd have to bathe with all your clothes on. . . Oh well, I guess we'll have to go back to our messy house.

Yes, I'm still here -  getting lots of new projects ready for our new spring patterns! I'll show you what I've been up to as soon as the patterns are ready.
