On Friday, I went to a fun Make-and-Take at Rosebud's Cottage in White Bear Lake. Look at the fantasy forest Roseanne planted in her entryway! I love the ornaments and lights under the glass. And the pink fluffy trees.
Here's Roseanne ready to wrap up some trees for a customer. I want a pastel Christmas at my house!
I have lots of Christmas reds and greens at my house. My friend Yvonne made the tree skirt for me in about 1979 - and I get it out every year and think of her. My kids tease me because I have a story for every ornament and decoration - and they get to hear them every year.
Here is the glittery snowflake that I made - I especially love not having the glitter all over my house :-) Thanks Roseanne for cleaning up the mess - my nickname was Gertie Schmerefink when I was little because I was so messy!
Another ornament and a really cute tag - and the ornament is already on my tree! The ornament folds up for storage, and next year I can tell the story about how much fun I had making it!
Love the cat under the tree picture...it is adorable.

I love the pink trees! Very fun. It is funny, my cats also like to be under the tree. You know each of my ornaments have a story too. We love to hear about them every year. They are usually about who made it and when or did we get this on that vacation. Merry Christmas!

I'm very late for this post...but I just found your blog...
Are you sure you are not my long lost twin sister? I have an angel made out of those fabrics in your tree skirt and she adorns the top of our tree since the 70's...and just ask my family - every ornament and every garland and every decoration has a story behind it...isn't that why we keep it all!!!!! Happy 2009!
