Very cute - the stripes are great! And love the corks in your candle holder.

I was just thinking of you today as I finished up a set of the medium and small sizes of Zippy Strippy. I think without a doubt your patterns are the best written of any I have used. And I have been quilting for almost 20 years--sewing for much much longer. My projects always come out very nice and your tips/suggestions along the way make for a well made project. Hope to do many more! I was thinking today as I was finishing up, I should make these for Christmas gifts and start NOW!

Love it! I'll need to go through my stash this afternoon to find some red, white and blue fabric to make myself one. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Terry
Glad to hear you are feeling better. Had a question on the Happy Holidays tree skirt. I knew I would be working with alot of bias edges and tried to be careful handling and ironing. I have a huge hump after sewing the six 60 degree triangles that make up the center part of the runner together. Any suggestions on eliminating some of that bulk?

Terry

Hi Vicki,
You can check the angle of each wedge before sewing and trim as needed. Each half (3 wedges sewn together) should be straight across - if there's a hump, trim before sewing! If you have the whole thing sewn together - fold on the last seam and re-draw the sewing line so it is straight!
