Nope, the shoemaker's elves didn't clean my sewing room while I was in California. When I got back home, I was kinda surprised to see how deep the "stuff" on the cutting counter really is! It piles up so gradually that I don't notice unless I'm away from it for a few days. So I revved up the backhoe and got to work. (just kidding) I uncovered the leftover pieces from my beach quilt. Not that I'm bad at math - I just have to make sure I have lots of choices, so there are always leftovers. Anyone want them?? I even have one seam sewn for you, so your quilt would be almost done!!
Look what else I found - a half finished zipper bag from my Fat Quarter Fonts book. All I had to do was sew the bottom seam and now I have a new bag. I put a big loop on the zipper pull so I can hang it in my locker when I go to the Y to exercise. Hey - doesn't cleaning count as exercise?? It should.

These apple cores may have already been given away, but I had to throw my name in as well! I just returned from a week away and am trying to catch up on all that has been going on in my absence....Have a wonderful day!

I would also like your apple cores, but there are so many ladies who want then. I think I'm too late or not?

Got to throw my name in the ring. I really like your work. At one point I had made 17 Yellow brick roads.. :) Brought the pattern 3 times. Lost one, gave my replacement to a friend and now the one I have is in a zippy bag because I cut it with the rotary cutter. LOL. I really like your patterns. My Happy Hour book is also very well loved. I should send you pictures of all the goodies you have helped me make! :)
Thanks

Those are so much "my" colors, not sure if my skills are up to the Apple Core level yet, but if gifted a project I would certainly try to rise to the challenge. As always I love to see your designs and color choices!

The Beach Quilt is great. Of course I would take the leftovers! I could use some pieces of the beach as we are still in the midst of cold winter here.

Your leftovers are wonderful! I'd be happy to take them off your hands but I see there are several ladies who've already asked for them. Love the new bag too! :0)

What pretty fabrics! How can you go wrong with blue and green?
It woudl be great to have a take along project, and even better if it has been cut out and ready to go!
If they still need a good home, please consider sending them to NC!

Count me in in the "I'll take them" category. They're so cute!

The curves are not too hard - you just gotta take your time!

I love how your beach quilt looks. I see several have already asked for the pieces... but I'll throw my name in if you decide to randomly choose! :-)
I can't wait until my LQS get's the Fat Quarter Fonts book. Everything you have embellished with them looks so darling!

Love the apple cores! I have always wanted to piece one. If they are still ripe for the taking, I'm in! I love the little bag. It would be terrific to stash all your cutting tools and gadgets in to take to a quilting class.

Oh, those are so my colors! I'll take 'em.

Really? Giving away some apple cores? Are the curves hard to sew?
